Before I made my decision as to where to go to college, I wanted to experience every campus equally. I took trips
to all of the schools I'd applied to over the summer and took mental notes of the pros and cons of living there. What
I like most about USC was that it was a mostly self-contained campus set inside the city of Columbia.

Whether I'm headed out to the gym, to Russel House for some dinner, or over to Patterson to chill with the fine lady-folk,
it's usually with the same group of friends from the "Dirty D." Practically the entire 6th floor of Douglas hangs
out with each other, and it made this 1st semester a lot more easygoing. Those of us from out-of-state made friends from
around the area relatively quickly, and it's been a blast.
